RWL Newlsetter #68
Greetings from the University of New Hampshire! I was accompanied by about 30 students from my program (Health Management and Policy, in case you don't know) on a trip up to Ogunquit, Maine, to attend the annual meeting of the Northern New England Association of Healthcare Executives (NNEAHE), our local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives. The NNEAHE was very generous to allow my students to attend for free. We had a great day of discussion and networking. Don't they look professional? (Thanks, Kevin Dononvan, President of NNEAHE and CEO of LRGHealthcare for posing with them.)
It was a good day.

Why: Quick little article, but it portends other things. Amazon has been a major disruptor in our time in so many industries, why not healthcare? And this is happening even as CVS seems to be trying to buy itself an insurance company. Healthcare is always changing.

Why: In case you don't know who Brandon Stanton is, he's the photographer behind Humans of New York. In case you don't know what Humans of New York is... http://www.humansofnewyork.com/
Stanton is one of those cultural phenomenons. But this interview has a number of leadership elements to it. One is the amazing ability Stanton has to listen and draw out the most important issues and thoughts. Another is his intense work ethic and dedication to his craft.
