RWL Newlsetter #60
Greetings from the University of New Hampshire! Second week of the semester is behind us - next thing you know, it will be winter break! Well, not really, but it always comes faster than I expect. This week we've had lots of rain and it's made the woods vibrantly green.
When I ask executives what their leadership style is, they most often answer one of two styles: they say they are servant leaders or transformational leaders. So this week in my management class we have been talking about servant leadership and transformational leadership, and that is the theme of this letter.

Why: Ashey, a student in my management course, recommended this TED talk on her weekly blog based on our discussion. Here's what Ashley had to say: "Hemerling outlined how a good leader will put people first during times of transformation, which is almost always happening nowadays. I loved how Hemerling explained that a strong leader will empower their employees to handle whatever may come their way."
